Brain still alive!
MAS [Maurice A. Sutherland] told me of position 484 in his & Lommer’s book: I explained it to him 3 times, yet he failed to understand. I not only found the solution & the reasons but made it perfectly clear to MAS over the telephone.
5 1/2 M.B. [Maisie Burger] Taken ill at lunch; put me off.
