Pleurisy—ague frightful for about 1/4 hr. Nearly went off to Ammenti! Temp 100.2° to 104.6°. Worst ague I ever had in this country, and damn near choked me. Sq sq [Heroin] saved me—I only just managed to hold the Pravaz.
