The Cave-Woman, perishing for lack of fuel, descended upon me. I swapped logs for sugar! We then discussed L’etincelle & films etc., etc.
Last proofs sent off to Ch[iswick] Press!
[Air Raid] Alert 8.34.36 Heavy gunfire.
R.[aiders] P.[assed] 9.43.21.
One of the most restful days I have had in a very long while.
No [I Ching hexagram] 51 at all! More like [I Ching hexagram] 52.
