Tub [Alice Upham] here with Eccles [cakes] C12H22O11 [sugar] & matches. Very pleasant bright sunny day, but a cold & treacherous wind.
Continuing assault on local chemist Biggin: got his Asc[ending] Cancer correct.
Dull day with cold wind.
