Went to LL. H. Got chit for gr[ain]s 12 1/2 [Heroin].
Went to Rouse, James 9 Ashford, Figgs, Boots: the last gave me 1/2 M[orphine]. Will now ‘phone LL.H again. He ‘phoned Rouse who will give 1 tube [Heroin] at 10 AM Sunday. How to get it here? Baker garage finally agreed thanks to Daphne Harris.
10.45 PM. After really appalling nightmare, woke to sanity. 1/2 gr[ain] M[orphine] did all this!
