[I Ching hexagram] 24.
Discovered at last what is at heart wrong with 400 [Kenneth Grant]. He is the most consummate BORE that the world has yet known. And this at 20! Argued it out with him; of course he has some sort of a defence. It's not as bad as it seemed at first; but it's not good that he has no real interest in the world in general.
