& got 10 gr[ains]
3 chess v.[ersus] Bexhill BENGE. Ay Board 7, let them enjoy the joke! A finely typical AC Anaconda Attack, culmination in Kt [Knight] sacrifice on move 23. He refused it, thus leaving me a piece & 2 pawns up, & the attack still on! Then—he started to play very slowly & more so & more so—till about move 40—I stopped recording after move 31: too silly!
