Colder—3 chill 6 PM. Ague 99.8º.
Russians in Berlin. I do feel sad to think of my chestnut-avenue on the canal at the foot of the Dernburg(?) Str—and the insane ambition of Louis XIV which has (presumably) wrecked it.
