Chit from 400 [Kenneth Grant] turned to his senses from T & H [Truslove and Hanson, publishing firm].
Die sent to Crow [W.B. Crow] 36 Ming I.
Wrote T & H. Crow [Letter - 1 June 1945]. 400.
Chess v.[ersus] Burnock—asked to play quickly, so lost a piece & resigned. V.[ersus] Stephenson 2-1. The lost game was sheer suicide; absence of mind. Gave 3 my best form; sacrifice of both Rooks consecutively.
