Terrible constriction-suffocation again—the 3rd or 4th time in a week: such attacks need 1/2-3/4 gr[ain] to allay.
Lost [chess] to E.M.J. [Edward M. Jackson] through fatigue and trying to win a drawn position. Skittles with two duds 8-0.
