Fog heavy. Thick all AM.
11.40 AM Tub [Alice Upham] here. Cancelled.
Chess—mostly skittles with Stephenson. The final game got too interesting & we played seriously. I devised a really fine combination, aesthetic, & won by a Kt [Knight] & 2 B.[ishops] mate.
