Chit from F.H. [Frieda Harris] re painting ans[were]d. Ink 51 from 516 [Jane Wolfe] at last!
Wrote Evan Morgan.
Chess v.[ersus] Mackenzie 1-1. The 1st game I lost through careless play in a difficult end-game; ought to have drawn, or even won. The 2nd an admirable game all through. My K[nigh]t in end-game was much stronger than his B.[ishop], though the position was open!
