What a bloody day!!!
I consoled myself by writing Cefalù and a lot of dictation.
Wept about nothing much. I felt as tho I were parting from a very deep part of myself.

Oh yes, Nina [Nina Hamnett] came in and gave 666 20 francs, so I had a bite to eat.
