Rotten weather.
Bourcier has said "Pay or out by Saturday". He did not roar this time, in fact, he was very nice about it.
3.45 P.M. Beast not feeling good. We worked 2 1/2 hours this A.M. but it's the money problem that's upset him again. He's sleeping now, poor boy.
10 P.M. Letters from Jane [Jane Chéron] and Aimée [Aimée Gouraud] after dinner w[ith] Sylvia S. [Sylvia Sullivan].
