A long day (No. 2 of Mstrn [Menstruation]).

     

A resumé. of the past few days. I notice I haven't written in my diary for almost a week!

 

17 — Don't remember—Oh yes, 666 called on Jones's [?].

18 — Cheque from Radclyffe [Raymond Radclyffe]—£5.

19 — ?                  Mrs. Murray and William [?].

20 — Easter   ?   Aimée [Aimée Gouraud] called—at Café Vavieu—Kiliani.

21 — Radclyffe's friend, one Rothbart called—a nice wholesome chap. He left 400 francs. Went to Notre Dame w[ith] 666—after lunch at Chinese Restaurant. He says "Decoration is always marred when the human form is introduced into it." Small place for dinner.

22 — Posted long letter to O.P.V. [Norman Mudd] enclosing Exordium, also letter to Radclyffe and Cefalù. Sent off O.P.V.'s suit.

     

To-day—Willy and Kiliani. Dinner at Strix. Saw Flora this evening. It is now 10 P.M. and Kiliani may yet call.

     

Letter from Cefalù with enclosures from S.A. [South Africa].

    

666 poorly to-day—coughing for first time since he stopped the H.[eroin]—pure two weeks ago.
