(Friday) Yesterday—8.50 P.M. OPUS III[1] SILENCE.
Up early to-day—started preparations for going any where.
8.45 A.M. OPUS IV[1] SILENCE.
Remarks about this. This is the first of the 4 that was nearly real silence—
No. 1. I uttered consciously and deliberately. For the establishment of the New Civilization. No. 2. O.P.V. made some personal remark. No. 3. I said (the usual word). No. 4 We uttered nothing but at the moment of orgasm the word O M occurred to X [Norman Mudd] and after the sacrament I saw a blue [. . .] with a red flame very like penis.
There will be a 5th. Opus in this series. "And therein am I a babe in an egg."

Having returned and gone to bed (after dinner and a walk) Alostrael [Leah Hirsig] being greatly distressed in her breathing assumed (11.26) the Buddha—Asana and did an exercise in Pranayama.

Opus VI Orgasm about 12 midnight.
