Camp XI.
On June 30th, after an attempt cancelled due to cold and wind, decisive reconnaissance direction, wind saddle. The most obvious route, opposite the base camp (the present ridge of Abruzzo), is abandoned. New storm. Then on July 4th Pfannl [Heinrich Pfannl] and Wessely [Victor Wessely] climb up to 5900 m. to set up camp XI. Still storm.
