Regarding Kanchenjunga; calculation of expenses. After a game of chess, Crowley suddenly asks me to make a contract similar to the one I signed on our first trip to the Himalayas; I’m beginning to believe that he has decided to join us and supply the funds we lack. We discuss a few details beside the general conditions of this contract and finally it is decided to follow it up and sign it tomorrow.
