I today returned to the office of New York State Attorney General, the file bearing on the activities of the above named subject and loaned to me some time since with the consent of Mr. Simon of the Attorney General's office. I withheld from said file one copy of an examination of Crowley, held in the Attorney General's office on July 17th, 1919.
