MEMORANDUM FOR: MR. E. S. SANDERS, Liaison Agent
RE: JOHN WHITESIDE PARSONS [Jack Parsons] ESPIONAGE
1. Upon receipt of advice from FBI that PARSONS had at one time been denied clearance to Air Force Top Secret information, a check was made to determine the circumstances.
2. The records of the Army-Navy-Air Force Personnel Security Board indicate that subject's case was considered on 18 August 1948, and the Board directed that subject be denied access to Top Secret information.
3. On 7 March 1949, the Industrial Employment Review Board reversed the decision of the Personnel Security Board thereby authorizing subject's access to military information through Top Secret.
