Reference is made to a memorandum to you in the above-captioned matter from Mr. Hennrich dated January 27, 1951, which requested the Liaison Section to deliver reports in the above-captioned matter to OSI and to exhibit at the same time to them evidence in this matter in order to determine (1) an expression of opinion from the appropriate source in the Department of the Air Force as to whether the documents involved "relate to the national defense" and (2) if there is any objection on the part of the Department of the Air Force to having the documents in question introduced in evidence in the event of prosecution.

This matter was discussed with representative of OSI by [Redacted] and they have advised after checking into the matter that the contract in question is under the jurisdiction of the Army. This is to advise that the evidence has been made available to Colonel Paul J. Cramer of G-2 and he stated that he would attempt to obtain from the Army the answers to the questions propounded.

This matter will be followed with Colonel Cramer as to the developments.
