SYNOPSIS OF FACTS:

   

Subject presently residing 1071 South Orange Grove, Pasadena. Background data regarding subject's wife, as obtained from Veterans Administration, set forth.

 

DETAILS:

     

On March 16, 1951, subject advised Special Agent ANATOLE N. OSSIPOFF that he had recently moved and is presently residing at 1071 South Orange Grove, Pasadena, telephone SYcamore 9-7816.

     

On February 1, 1951, [Redacted] advised subject's wife [Marjorie Cameron] served in the Waves during World War II.

     

In this connection, the following investigation has been conducted by the Washington Field Office:

     

"Files of Claims Division, Veterans Administration reflect that subject's wife entered Naval Service February 25, 1943, at Naval Training Station, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and was honorably discharged November 16, 1946, as Specialist (photographic) 3C at Washington, D.C. She entered under maiden name of MARJORIE ELIZABETH CAMERON and name changed by reason of marriage to MARJORIE E. PARSONS on October 19, 1946. She was assigned NSN 7042910, however, it is to be noted that there was a penciled notation in file reflecting that this was corrected to 7042911 on July 11, 1949.

     

She was born April 23, 1922, at Belle Plains, Iowas, and upon entering service resided at 1213 College Avenue, Davenport, Iowa. They list her occupation as free lance commercial artist and has studied art in Mexico and Paris."
