I will gaze into the Abyss of the Ages, and I will lift up my face to the stars, and that shall be made visible to the Eye—THAT which is incomprehensible, yet which must be comprehended.

Flowing sensation—

 

As far as possible I try to think of everything I do as symbolic. I often say to myself. . . . I am not H.—C.— [Herbert Close] but SUPERNA SEQUOR. . . .This always seems to produce a peculiar latent subconscious effect or feeling which is impossible to describe. It also relieves H.—C.— of responsibility and purges the mental and spiritual atmosphere.
