Meredith Starr Diary Entry

Did not do any exercise in order not to interfere with the A—m [Anhalonium Lewinii].

Saw Crowley at about 12. I think he seems rather sceptical about my really having the power. I made Neuburg [Victor B. Neuburg] and Raffalovich [George Raffalovich] feel it. . . . by placing my hand on their heads. Crowley asked me if I would take 10 grains of Calomel to see if it had any effect on me. . . . while I tried to forbid it to act. I did so. It did act at about 6 p.m.: after I had played tennis. . . . I was sick before starting to play, but nevertheless played a much better game than usual.

Went to bed at 8.45. Slept till 7.45. . . . 11 hours.
