A.M.

A good night.

7:30 - 50

ASANA, thunderbolt.

Poor.

7:50 - 8:10

DHARANA, yellow sq.

Difficulty at start, sq. hard to visualize, but afterwards settled into an inward poise. Always know when channels are free by deep, full and regular breathing.

HARPOCRATES.

Invocation.

4:00

Shummie [Ninette Shumway] read ‘Across the Gulf’ while I painted floor. It occurs to me that one with a knowledge of past incarnations might enjoy adopting at intervals some part of a former apparel. This accounting for what—to an American mind at least,—might be taken as an eccentricity in the dress at times of A.C.

Also, would this account for a certain deep blue heavy silk robe I picture for myself. Have I at some time worn such, open at the throat and breast, showing beneath a slip of—not white, not cream; I do not get this now; but I always thought it was white. Now I know it is not.

10:20 - 40

ASANA, thunderbolt.

Have decided that I am attempting to wade around in the wrong fields. Asana pertains to the physical: I have been trying to reach—what? Something beyond Dharana it seems.

10:40 - 11:00

DHARANA, yellow sq.

Got sq. again and results first 10 mins., then mind wandered flagrantly.

HARPOCRATES.

Invocation.
