I use the Talisman, feeling
drawn to it. The God puts me on his left shoulder
and we rise into space—up and up. Then I see below
me, slightly to my left, a rock projecting, the
earth lying far, far below—I see this earth to the
right. A nest of eggs—three. The words: Fecundate
them. I wait a moment, the ‘How?’ A tiny black
serpent appears in the nest. Again I wait—then, ‘Now
what?’ From one, to the left slightly less than 45
degrees—i.e., emerging from the egg in that
direction, stepped a white bird: I see its feathers
distinctly—about the size of a peuter pigeon. This
bird become a white pillar, which rises & rises up,
far away into the sky. I watch—nothing else happens.
I then return to the nest—having gone up with the
pillar—and from the egg to the right there flows an
inky fluid; it spills over that side of the
mountain, continuing to flow. ‘What of the third?’,
the centre one. This is a wee, wee white bird, that
perches on the edge the mt. shaft, not far from the
nest, and sings happily.
The sky between the pillar and
the inky stream now fills with a huge head and
shoulders of a man; the thing dark and apparently
chagrined.
I am reminded that from 2 to
2:40 I sit in silence, waiting. During this interval
a limitless sea of blue, myself in the centre and
something strong & moving received through the palms
of my hands when in contact with the water. I cannot
analyze it without getting into the double. Do not
attempt this as I understand I would then leave the
physical.
All day the desert has called—I
ache for it. |

I sleep a bit and wake. I get
A.C. saddened greatly, and as though I were the
cause. I walk by his side, steadily, up a stony
trail, gaze ahead. Just so he, too, walks. But this
something proves a bond. |

. . . . . I pray you hold
Me as a secret and a blessed
chrism
That you have gained to adorn
your house of gold
By some strange silent sacred
exorcism.
Recollection: Before falling
asleep, I saw standing before rocks; facing me, a
colossal figure, hoary headed, flowing beard, with
trident in the right hand. Neptune? |
