In Abbey all night—nothing; about 3 hours sleep.

 

Re responsibility. A.C.: “Lea [Leah Hirsig] says you shirk responsibility.” True, and with malice aforethought. I may be right, I may be all wrong in this. Time will have to tell.

One thing the matter with me: Am not appreciating opportunities. There is still proud defiance—defiance of god and man. When I could be withered at a glance!

 

An opium evening—nothing.

Slight nausea.
