Jane Wolfe Diary Entry

Sunday, 6 February 1921

A.M.

Early part of night ceremony of some sort. A hearse the focal point? Horsemen and carriages arranged in large open space. The Kaiser seemed a part of this.

Ceremony began by man on horse—a mistake made. Immediately second rider did something which balanced it and therefore nullified error. A white horse here but do not remember whether first of second.

7:20-38

Asana (in own room)

7:40-8:00

Harpocrates.

8:00-13

Dharana.

All fair for morning.

Silence began this A.M.

Umbilicus family arrived, each saying the familiar line. I stood cudgelling my brain; finally remembered something, said it, with the remark: “Well, I got that out of my system, Genesthai [C. F. Russell]”!

11:00

Pranayama, 5’ Wobbly.

Have felt shaky all morning—“on edge”. Why?

A different personality seems looking out of Lea [Leah Hirsig] these days. Too, one evening she looked strikingly like my brother, and for the first time I have seen a resemblance to myself.

P.M.

3:30-4:00

Try visions—unsuccessful.

Then sat myself on a rock out in Space, to rest. After a time became conscious of green-grotto. green, like soft clouds beneath me, then purple and violets, while some deeper part of me sensed a white brilliance far off and beings in that brilliance.

8:35-55

Asana.

Fair, broke twice.

9:00-15

Dharana.

Broke after 10’.

9:15-25

Harpocrates.

Tired, I think.
