Jane Wolfe Diary Entry

Thursday, 3 March 1921

A.M.

French 1/2 hr.

10:00-19

Asana.

10:20-40

Dharana.

Get into these well at times—fluctuating, of course. No mental last 5’ Dharana.

10:41-11:

Harpocrates.

Never get as deeply into this as A G D. All gone last 5’.

8’ Pranayama.

My body acts as though stimulated. I lose muscular control & get shaky.

P.M.

I committed an error this noon in saying Adoration. I am prepared for Palermo, remaining at Abbey for tiffen. I assumed the same regime would hold as held when she was in Palermo with A.C.—that the Adorations & Pentagram by Alostrael [Leah Hirsig] meant while she was present in Abbey and that in her absence in Palermo, or elsewhere, the Abbey was not to go without Pentagram & Adoration. A good thing this came up, otherwise I would have held Pentagram this evening.

Read “Shadow Line”.

Think I am touching the surface at intervals—merging from the depths of negativity.

9:00

I am nerve weary to-night. Shall not do Yoga but will take Liber Aleph.
