A.M.

 

All night in a mood I could not analyze—I can not even name it. Irritation is too light a Word, yet it was not anger. We say a person is “moody”. What do we mean?

 

Also came, during the night an argument that brought forth without thought—“would engraft” That word “engraft” leaped vividly into my mind and obliterated all else. It takes me back—but if one can engraft one can chop off! At present I cannot accept the latter.
