Esther (Mimi) Fraux

Born: Unknown.

Died: Unknown.

Mimi Fraux was the twin sister of Ninette Shumway and thought Aleister Crowley was impressive. Both Mimi and Ninette's other sister Helen Fraux visited the Abbey of Thelema in 1922.

Mimi became the first wife of C. F. Russell. She and Russell traveled to Sydney in 1921, where they married on 5 December. Crowley had great plans that Russell would work with Frank Bennett to promote Thelemic organizations in Australia, however the two did not get on, and Russell and Mimi soon left Australia for the United States.
