Charles Henry Rosher

Born: 1858 in London, England.

Died: 1936 in Middlesex, England.

Charles Henry Rosher was an engineer and designer, writer and political activist. He was married to Caroline Lily Rosher (b. 1856).

He became a member of the Golden Dawn on 5 May 1894, three months after Allan Bennett, and entered the Golden Dawn Second Order on 26 September 1896. His Golden Dawn magical name was Frater Aequo Animo, ‘with the soul of a horse’. Rosher published his Poems in 1897 and died in Middlesex in 1936.

When George Cecil Jones was unavailable to assist Crowley with his Abramelin Operation at Boleskine House, Rosher agreed to be Crowley's assistant. However, after less than a month working with Crowley, Rosher left with no explanation.
