Dr. Charnock Smith

Dr. Charnock Smith was Crowley's physician during his stay at Netherwood. Crowley was registered at the medical practice of Drs. Charnock Smith, Magowan and Paterson at Rockholme, 16 Quarry, Road, Hastings. Dr. Smith had been based in Hastings since 1920 and during the war had to run the practice single-handed, as both partners were on active service. He left Hastings soon after the end of the war and Dr. Magowan took over Crowley's treatment.
