Herbert Frank Watson

Herbert Watson, proprietor of The Ridge Stores, St. Helen's, on the north side of The Ridge and near to Netherwood, was Crowley's closest companion during his final years at Netherwood. He ran errands, liaised with Heppells Pharmacy in London about heroin deliveries, offered lifts and took him for rides around the local countryside in his car.  Watson assisted in nursing Crowley as he lay dying and was a witness to Crowley's will; he also signed the death certificate.
