MR. ALEISTER CROWLEY’S ARREST.

Mr. Aleister Crowley, the author, was arrested yesterday and charged with receiving five letters belonging to Mrs. Betty Sedgwick [Betty May].

He was released on bail and will appear at Marylebone Police Court to-day.

Mrs. Sedgwick, author of the “Tiger Woman,” gave evidence in April in a libel action in the High Court, which was lost by Mr. Crowley.

The judge then ordered certain letters to be impounded.
