The Chancellor of the A∴A∴ asks me to communicate the following to you. The perfume called Ruthah is for everyday use. The Chancellor says that all he can do is to advise you to do the same. Full instructions as to Talismans are given in Part II and III of Book IV. Part II is now ready for delivery. In re your query: is there any power in talismans, is this tested, or are things constructed according to Ancients [?]. The answer is: Yes, if you know how to do it. We hope that these rather veiled answers to your questions will at least give you a hint that the secrets of Adepts are not communicable.
