Care Frater—
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I do not know how I came to omit sending you the 777. A copy goes by this mail. I hope to hear good news of the Lodge, and of your special search, at an early date. You must really hurry up and earn that ninth degree. There is a whole lot which I should like to discuss—and no one within several weeks' journey with whom I can discuss it. Women, as you are well aware, are useless for any purpose of this kind. They only echo one's thoughts; never by any chance contribute anything to the discussion. And I want original and independent investigation.
There is no particular news. But you will receive the Word of the Equinox next week.
Love is the Law, Love under Will.
Yours fraternally,
[eleven-fold cross] Baphomet X° O.T.O.
