My Dear Dreiser,

It has been a matter for continual lamentation that I have not heard from you for so long. But who is the likes of me to approach the likes of you?

I had hoped you would have seen Wilhouson's "Plea for Better Morals" in the August number of The International and realized that I had unfurled the oriflamme. Will you drop in to see me some morning? I think we may have a very useful talk.

Yours ever,

Aleister Crowley
