Correspondence from to William Bradley to Aleister Crowley

Dear Mr. Crowley,
I have your letter of the 22nd and must apologize for not having written before. If I did not do so, it was because I really had no news to give you. I am sorry to have to inform you now that Mathuen has declined The Heart of the Master, returning the manuscript. My New York correspondent advises me, in her last letter, that T. R. Smith, to whom you refer and who is, as you know, Liveright's manager, now has the Confessions under advisement, and there should be some word from him before long as well as some information concerning the serial rights.
I will write, as you suggest, write [sic] to Mr. Evans [Montgomery Evans] at once, though I think it would have been well to have a copy of his letter at hand to refer to.
When are you planning to return to Paris?
