I have had to pay 2000 fr[ancs] to the exiles [Israel Regardie and Maria de Miramar] about 1100 for doctors and nurses to date. 5000 to the lawyer. For this he will find out who got Tardieu going, and take appropriate steps.
But a further payment will probably be necessary at the moment of effective intervention. Once this is fixed, they won't start any further trouble [illegible] seems a French [illegible].
The lawyer will also find out the pretext of all this nonsense, and we should be able to hit back hard.
But I am just a little disheartened at not hearing from you still, I suppose I shall see you Saturday morning.
Still pretty groggy, but working like hell to get the Book [Magick in Theory and Practice] out.
