93,
Another Hashish Dream come true!
A lawyer
C.B. Medley Field Roscoe and Co. 36 Lincoln's Inn Fields
who has a Cézanne and two Van Goghs in his office, and doesn't waste my time!
We sign 4 contracts [with the Mandrake Press]—Memoirs [The Confessions of Aleister Crowley], Moonchild (= The Net), Simon Iff and "20 Short Stories" at 5 o'c to-day, and I [illegible] Leipzig [illegible] in the morning.
Trying another new way to get married!
Will you call on Medley when you get back. I'm leaving a Power of Attorney for you to sign the other contracts, which will take some time to prepare. And an appointment for you to receive cash, and pay back Germer [Karl Germer] also. I've packed away Louis Wilkinson's address. Will you tell him I'm sorry I can't be here an Aug 4 and hope to see him at end of Aug or early in Sept.
Hot and tired and busy!
