Dear Madam,

We have to acknowledge with many thanks your letter addressed to Mr. Kyllmann. We are sending a copy of it to our solicitors Messrs Waterhouse as they are in a position to approach you for help in the LAUGHING TORSO case, and at the same time to supply you with a copy of the book to help you to give them the promised assistance.

We much regret that we are not ourselves in a position to send out any copies save to our legal advisers; but we can assure you that you will hear from Messrs Waterhouse before very long.

We are, Madam,

Yours faithfully,

Miss Violet Hunt,
