I am very pleased by your letter of June 23. I am straining every nerve to get the book [The Equinox of the Gods] out by the middle of August with the idea of catching a boat on August 27 via Panama, reaching Los Angeles September 19. It needs about £500 to carry out this program, and if it can be achieved, all your difficulties about time and money will be swept away. I do not know what can be done here to raise this sum. What is wanted at your end is contact with big Film Companies. It ought to be quite possible to get them to import me. Your trouble seems to be that you have no adequate social contacts. At the same time, the Book of the Law will look after the business itself. It is not impossible, or even improbable, that a Millionaire may walk into the Mass [Gnostic Mass] and see the light.

I believe that the best plan would be to give public readings of the Book of the Law itself, but this ought to be done very well from the standpoint of elocution.

Yours fraternally
