Care Frater

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

I have been too busy polishing off the Tarot [The Book of Thoth] to answer your letter of Aug 18th till now. I am very glad to hear your good news and I daresay the trouble about those girls' jobs may not be so bad, seeing the way things have turned out.

I can't do much in the way of regular correspondence in present circumstances: but I think your suggestion of an Abbey may be practicable; of course at the moment nobody at all has got any money. It will take some time to get things on to a proper footing. I think this is your chance to put things over big; you have certainly an excellent text for your sermons. Expect to hear from me as usual at the Equinox.

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours fraternally
