Key to dramatis personae: Aleister Crowley is T. or Therion, or 666. He is represented by Amalantrah in the temple of the seeress' vision.
Roddie Minor, or Eve is Soror Achitha (variously spelled Ahita, Achita, Ahitha), or 555. She is the egg or altar in the temple.
Marie Lavroff or Röhling is Soror Olun, or 156, and is the Tree in the temple.
Mrs Elsa Lincke is Soror Bazedon and possibly 444, being the Lion in the temple.
Charles Stansfeld Jones is Frater Arcteon, O.I.V.V.I.O., Nemo and 777. He is the Child in the temple.
Amalantrah the Wizard is 729 and represents 666 or A.C. in the temple.

T[herion]: Is there any news for us?
A[chitha]: He is pleased with us. His face has a very richly gratified expression as if things were going better all the time.
T[herion]: Is our operation going well?
A[chitha]: A dark light appears on the head of a pole: it might be a headlight of an engine. "Yes, in a measure." "Your attitude is not quite right; in the will it is right, but you are formulating it badly." There is a single eye with a dark light in it looking towards me.
T[herion]: Will the operation succeed?
A[chitha]: 729 shakes his head. That depends.

A[chitha]: There is a Chinese with his feet crossed, standing. He is in a yellow robe and has large ears. He is of gold. (He might be a source of gold? No, he will not.) There is a tall man of the caricature type of U.S. standing by the place where I built the first fire. He has no face at all, but has dark straight hair. His hands are held out so that his fingers droop like claws. Very fierce. (His hands in sign of enterer.) A white goose goes by the turtle.
Here we take up the question of the position of all the people and objects at the woodland place of 729. From now on we will call it a Temple.

A[chitha]: Samekh. (Maybe Shin.)
T[herion]: Why is there no officer to face the turtle?
A[chitha]: The eagle is in that place but is in the air.
T[herion]: What does the turtle represent?
A[chitha]: Prometheus. (!!!!) I see a fire and a building coming out of it.
T[herion]: What does the eagle represent?
A[chitha]: The eagle is now choking a snake. It represents Eve's function. (The turtle is male and the eagle female canals of force.) The child and the lion also balance (the two forms of Horus).
T[herion]: Is there an officer in the cave?
A[chitha]: Yes, a spider or a snake. Yes, a dragon.
T[herion]: What does the Temple represent?
A[chitha]: Life—Egypt work. Peter Pan, i.e. eternal youth. 729 Blood Sanguine. (of 'The Paris Working'. T.[herion].)
T[herion]: What Roman God?
A[chitha]: Thor. (Jupiter, as I foresaw. T.[herion].) (Note ( . . . ) as house of ( . . .).) (Prometheus too, connected with Jupiter.)
