Tuesday, 26 March 1918

Key to dramatis personae:

Aleister Crowley is T. or Therion, or 666. He is represented by Amalantrah in the temple of the seeress' vision.

Roddie Minor, or Eve is Soror Achitha (variously spelled Ahita, Achita, Ahitha), or 555. She is the egg or altar in the temple.

Marie Lavroff or Röhling is Soror Olun, or 156, and is the Tree in the temple.

Mrs Elsa Lincke is Soror Bazedon and possibly 444, being the Lion in the temple.

Charles Stansfeld Jones is Frater Arcteon, O.I.V.V.I.O., Nemo and 777. He is the Child in the temple.

Amalantrah the Wizard is 729 and represents 666 or A.C. in the temple.

5.15 p.m.

Soror Bazedon goes to see the Wizard invoking him by the name of Amalantrah. Sees person "as good as 729" in desert.

T[herion]:  His name?

A[nswer]:  Amalaftan.

T[herion]:  He says?

A[nswer]:  Jargon. He'll take B[azedon] to 729. Oasis—palms—camel—Arabs—tent. Inside a reclining figure. He's 729.

T[herion]:  What about vision last night?

A[nswer]:  Correct save in one point.

T[herion]:  What is coming as to 420? (Ahitha.)

A[nswer]:  That must be worked out. Depends on T[herion]

T[herion]:  What line should I take?

A[nswer]:  The principal one.

T[herion]:  Give me a number to express that line.

A[nswer]:  527. (q.v.) Why haven't you paid more attention to it? All's in good order. T[herion] has been slack.

T[herion]:  Will 156 reappear?

A[nswer]:  I don't think so: must come by itself if it does.

T[herion]:  Any message for this moment?

A[nswer]:  Go and see PROCANTUS.

T[herion]:  Explain that.

A[nswer]:  Go and hear why he has not given you the right of way, he should not adorn himself with what does not belong to him for he is only a milestone on the way: he will not in any way secure the plot(?) [plough?].

T[herion]:  Give message as picture or figure.

A[nswer]:  '88612476.

T[herion]:  No.

A[nswer]:  7. Arena with winged lions.

T[herion]:  News of the person whom I shall call N. At this point T[herion] concentrated, but not strongly enough, on Wesrun [Dorothy Troxel].

A[nswer]:  Vancouver. T[herion] had been thinking of Arcteon as he asked the question. He then concentrated properly on Wesrun.

Travelling in light blue dress—rejoicing over some accomplished work. Going to be a great person whom the Gods have favored. 729 always close to 666 and interested.
