Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Friday, 5 March 1920
Naughty Ninette [Ninette Shumway] has come to the rescue like a little brick, better than the one she used to go to bed with before she saw the light. She went to Paris for this purpose; I painted all day. Hansi got my green paint, about ten francs worth, and became the Green Man, in accordance with ancient and primitive custom!
Things seem clearing all round; they are beginning to sit up and take notice of my articles.[1]
