Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Saturday, 18 March 1922

8.50 A.M.  20. Medium [dose of Heroin] to continue waking process. I slept well from about 11 P.M. to 8.0 A.M.—one tablet of Noctyl. The dreams were multiple and gorgeous; royalty came into them, so that will see the campaign set on foot.

B-C [Arthur Booth-Clibborn] is not quite big enough to forget himself entirely.

21. Medium [dose of Heroin]. To arise, and go to the Turker [Turkish Bath]. I hope that will be enough for the day. If so, the thing will average 3 doses daily during the week. If my general health improves, as it should with the new treatment, I should be able to reduce the weekly amount by using the old principles.

9.22 Off to Turker.

2.54 P.M. Went walking in the Sunlight instead.

22. 12.45. Small [dose of Heroin].

1.12. Small [dose of Heroin]. Feeling rather tired, and no Luminal handy. Indeed, Strychnine would have been the proper thing—Tired now, (3.56 P.M.) and shall take some.
