Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

11.30 A.M. B-C [Arthur Booth-Clibborn] at 4. Geogeo at 6. MUST get Blau [Joel Blau] letter done: ditto Northcliffe letter. Aiwaz! I adore Thee and invoke Thee, with joy that I am weary with loving Thee and working for Thy Word.

12.45 Must get Behind-the-Door stories, and Raphael's Ephemeris. (Damn Paris Booksellers. I have had this on order over three weeks—to say nothing of asking Mary Butts, the carrot-maggot, to send it. Will write Lea [Leah Hirsig]. Also for Pythagorus.

Message about Geogeo. [I Ching Hexagram] XXIII Po!!!

4.0 Took Himalayan questions to Wally, had Turker, woke too soon. Am mad with Lea about her letter this morning: the presence of Mary and Maitland [Cecil Maitland] (I think) is destroying her Dhatu.

34.  35. The energy of Opus 7 and 8 has got me going furiously, and I take Heroin in a sort of triumphant rapture as if I was not afraid of it at all.

9.0 P.M. and now I have taken two more small doses (36), simply to keep myself awake while I could eat! The conditions are certainly all wrong. I shall try and get to the country on Tuesday; in any case I want to rewrite "Snow-storm", expanding it, fitting it for a singer [?] as advised by Booth-Clibborn.

Geogeo did not turn up: I am not in tears. In fact, I evaded her. Any such affair must come as the Yi said it would.
