P. [Pearl Brooksmith] still very ill. I out all day shopping.
4. Kerman [Isidore Kerman]—up in air (?) over W.S. [White Stains]. I insist he call Frank Lewis. We 3 meet at 9.
. . . . Knapp called to see the Cave after the Cave Man had done his Autumn Cleaning. V[ery] pleased.
P. still in great pain.
